CNSC listens to concerns raised by phytosanitary professionals
The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC), Your Partner, is hosting an important meeting which has brought to the table all stakeholders of the port sector to find solutions to a strike action announced since 14 October 2024 by phytosanitary professionals using the Port of Douala.
Concerned shippers and these phytosanitary treatment companies are protesting against new measures put in place by the Port Authority of Douala and implemented by the head of the phytosanitary control post requiring the payment of a variable fee calculated on the basis of the volume of products to be treated before shipment.
