Cameroon chairs International Cocoa Council for the 2024/2025 cocoa season

In a release signed by the Minister of Trade and published on 20 September 2024, the Group of Cocoa Producing Countries of the International Cocoa Organisation (ICCO) unanimously decided that Cameroon will head the International Cocoa Council for the 2024/2025 cocoa season.

This decision will be ratified by the International Cocoa Council, which brings together producing and importing countries, at its 110th session to hold in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from 23 to 26 September.

This prestigious distinction is in recognition of Cameroon's tireless efforts to give due value to the work of local producers, which is appreciated by the international cocoa industry.
