Cameroon revises timber species classification for sustainable forest management

After the recent working session of the Council of Ministers of the Central African Economic Union (UEAC) held on 23 February 2024 in Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR), Cameroon's Minister for Forestry and Wildlife, Mr. Jules Doret Ndongo, signed a Ministerial Order on 4 April 2024 amending the classification of timber species in Cameroon. DGD ISSUES REMINDER ON CLEARANCE PROCEDURES FOR SOFTWARE AND SIMILAR PRODUCTS

Software, Royalties, Software Licences, Updates and Usage Rights are subject to the customs clearance procedures set out in Article 2 (6) of the 2018 Finance Law. The Director General of Customs, Mr. Edwin Fongod Nuvaga, issued a formal reminder to this effect in a memo signed on 20 March 2024.
